Christmas Time

Lots happened since I posted a blog last.
I'm still going smoke free and slowly getting used to it.  I'm in my second week.
Something I forgot to show you all in my apartment is my nice wooden Wishing Well.

I won that one years back in a silent auction.

Also, on December 4th we had our annual Samichlaus (St. Nicklaus) party at my apartment.
Mom and Dad where there, Ursi, Jeff, Katie and Maya came including the two German volunteers Marcel and Andy whom I got to know when I was over at the Mission once a week, and I also invited a good friend of mine who lives right across the hall from me (our Supperintendent) Bruce.  So we had lots of fun with mom cooking a soup and us eating away on peanuts, chocolates and Oranges, and drinking coffee, hot chocolate and Pepsi.  All too soon it was time to pack up and go though.  I wished we could have stayed around the table a bit longer.

Then on December 5th was Christkindle Market in Kitchener where I had to go and play with the Swiss Farmer Band and in the evening at my church (New Song Church and World Outreach), we had our Christmas Dinner.

On December 7th from Waterloo Regional Homes for Mental Health where I get my Social Workers from, we had our Christmas party, where we had fun too.  They played a game where they made snowmans out of toillette paper and had a competition by aplause, who made the best snow man.

We also at that Christmas Party had a full Christmas Turcky Dinner with everything included.  Turckey, Mash potato, gravey, and a number of other things, with dessert afterwards.

I don't mean to brag, but I even won the 50/50 draw they had.  I won $150.00, but only paid $6.00 for 9 tickets to be drawn. It was $1.00 for 1 tickets or $2.00 for 3 tickets I believe.

So all in all I had a busy time going from Chritmas party to Christmas party lately, and I'm not done yet.
On December 12th I have to play my Horn in another Christmas Concert with the Swiss Farmer Band,  And on December 18th is the Liebenzeller Chritmas.  Like I said going from party to party and by the 18th, Chritmas is not even here yet.
